Audits, cost reviews and optimization
Technology consulting: audits, cost reviews and ongoing optimization
Keylink reviews the technology your business pays for, shows you what is working and what is not, and helps you fix the most important things first.

The Brain · Consulting
Know what you have, what it costs and what to fix first
Technology consulting is a structured look at the technology your business runs on: what you have, what it costs, how your team uses it and what to change first. Keylink Innovative Technology has offered IT consulting since 1993, and today works with businesses across Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
Technology spending tends to grow one subscription at a time. After a few years, a business can be paying for overlapping tools, licenses for people who have left and systems that make staff do the same work twice.
We look at the whole picture: computers, network, phones, software, website, payments and the processes that connect them. Because we also run these systems for clients every day, our recommendations come from the same team that would carry them out.
- Audits of the technology you have and how it is set up.
- Cost reviews of what you pay for and what you use.
- Process work on the tasks that waste your team’s time.
- Ongoing optimization so the picture stays current.

Who it is for
Owners who want a clear picture
Consulting is most useful at a turning point, or when costs no longer make sense.
Unsure what you pay for
Monthly bills for software, phones and services that nobody has reviewed in a while.
Facing a big change
A move, a new location, new staff or a system that is reaching the end of its life.
Work done twice
Staff copying information between systems, or working around tools that do not fit.
Wanting regular check-ins
A business that wants someone to keep an eye on its technology plan over time.
Problem and result
From a pile of bills to a plan
Not sure where to start? Tell us what is slowing your team down. We will point you to the right fix, even if it is a small one.
Technology audit
An inventory of your devices, systems, accounts and services, and how they are set up today.
Cost review
What you pay for, what is used, what overlaps and what could be dropped or combined.
Process work
A look at the everyday tasks that take too long, and the changes that would remove steps.
Ongoing optimization
Regular reviews that keep your technology plan in step with how the business is changing.
Scope
What is included, and what is quoted separately
Included in a review
- A conversation about how your business runs today and what gets in the way
- A review of the systems, services and subscriptions in scope
- A look at what each one costs and who uses it
- Recommendations ranked by what to fix first
- A follow-up to go through the recommendations with you
Quoted separately
- The work to carry out each recommendation
- Wiring, custom development, cameras and hosting, which are billed separately from the managed support plan
- New hardware and software, at no markup when we buy hardware for you
- Ongoing optimization, quoted by how often you want us to review
How we price it
The first business review is free. Paid audits and cost reviews are quoted after we learn the number of users, devices, locations and systems involved, and how deep you want the review to go.
FAQ
Questions about technology consulting
What is the free business review?
A conversation about how your business runs today and what is getting in the way. We follow up with suggested next steps. There is no charge for the review.
Will you just try to sell us more?
Our aim is to recommend what makes sense, and what does not, even when the right fix is a small one. When we buy hardware for you, we do not charge extra.
What happens after the review?
You decide. If you want us to do the work, we quote each piece separately so you can see what each one involves before you commit.
How long have you been doing this?
