How to set your Voicemail
On the Physical Phone
- Select the Voicemail button.
- Select 8 to change the greeting message.
- Select 0 to record new greeting message.
- Record the message then press #.
- To save the message, press 0. To repeat the message, press 1.
On the Web Client
- From the 3CX app, dial 999.
- Enter option 8 to change your greeting message.
- Select option 0.
- Record the message then press #.
- To save the message, press 0. To repeat the message, press 1.
On the Mobile App
- From the 3CX app, dial 999.
- Enter option 8 to change your greeting message.
- Select option 0.
- Record the message then press #.
- To save the message, select 0.
Please Note: If you set up your voicemail in any one of these locations your voicemail will be the same on all 3CX platforms.
How to Enable or Disable Do Not Disturb (DND)
DND mode stops your phone from ringing and sends your line’s incoming calls straight to voicemail.
On the Physical Phone
1. Select the DND softkey. Note: When DND is enabled, there will be a solid red light on your display showing that you are in DND mode.
2. To disable DND (make yourself available for calls), select the DND sofkey again and the red light will turn off.
On the Web Client
1. Click on your Profile Icon in the top right of the 3CX PWA Client.
2. Select Do Not Disturb from the menu that will display.
3. Your profile will now display a red box, meaning that you are in DND mode.
On the Mobile App
1. From the 3CX app, Tap on the colored box in the top right corner.
2. Select Do Not Disturb from the menu that will display.
3. Your profile will now display a red box, meaning that you are in DND mode.
To disable DND Mode, repeat step 1 and select available.
Please Note: If you set yourself on DND on one device, it will set you on DND on all other utilized devices. (Ex. If you put yourself on DND on the phone app then your handset phone will also be set to DND)

How to Make Calls Using 3CX
- Access the dial pad located in the top right menu or click on the search icon.
- Enter the phone number directly or search by name, extension number, or email address.
- To begin the call, simply click the handset icon
or select the extension or contact.
Transferring a Call
How to Blind Transfer:
Directly pass the call to another party without speaking to them first.
- During a phone call, select Transfer
. A new page will display.
- Then enter the name or number of the intended recipient. Click the handset icon
or select the extension or contact. The call is transferred directly and your line will disconnect from the call.
How to Attended Transfer:
Talk to the intended recipient before transferring the call.
- During a phone call, select Transfer
. A new page will display.
- Then enter the name or number of the intended recipient. Click the handset icon
or select the extension or contact.
- You can speak with the intended recipient. To finish the transfer, select Join
. The caller will then be transferred and your line will disconnect from the call.
Conference
Bring more people into the call.
How to Conference:
- During a call, select Conference
.
- Then enter the name or number of the intended recipient. Click the handset icon
or select the extension or contact.
- They will be dialed, and upon answering, they will join the ongoing call.
Hold
Putting a call on hold is like muting it, except the person on the other end hears hold music.
How to Place a Call on Hold:
- During a call, select Hold
. The caller will hear a hold tone, no one can speak to the other.
- To resume the call, select Hold
again and the call will resume.

Under the Keypad tab in the 3CX app, dial a number or choose a contact to call and hit

Transfer a Call

Team View
On the Web Client
1. Click on your Team in the top left of the PWA.
You are now in the Team View.
Statuses
Here you can see who is:
- Available for calls (Green Square)
- Set on Do Not Disturb (Red Square)
- On a call (Yellow Square)
Team View Functions
Here you can:
- Quick call a Team Member
- Video call a Team Member
- Quick chat with a Team Member
- Add Team Member to Favorites (for those you contact most often)
On the Mobile App
1. From the 3CX app, Tap the Team icon in the bottom left corner.
You are now in the Team View on your 3CX mobile app.
Statuses
Here you can see who is:
- Available for calls (Green Circle)
- Set on Do Not Disturb (Red Circle)
- On a call (Yellow Circle)
- To quickly call a team member, tap on their row and it will automatically call them.
Perform More Functions in Team View
To perform more functions (such as send a message or leave a voicemail for a team member), select the 3 dots to the right of their row.
Their contact information will now display:
From here you can:
- Call the team member
- Send a message to the team member
- Leave a voicemail for the team member
- Send an email to the team member
Chat
On the Web Client
1. Click on Chat in the top left of the PWA.
You are now in the Chat View.
Chat Options
Here you can:
- View and continue chats/sms messages
- Start a new chat/sms message
Identify SMS vs. Chat Message
- SMS messages will display a blue circle with a phone to the left of the contact’s name or number.
- A Chat with a team member will not have the blue circle.

Here you can view meetings and create meetings
To create a meeting:
- Select New on the top right
- Enter the Meeting Name, Date, and Meeting Format (video or regular meeting call), select Save
